From a changing political climate to the environmental implications of business decisions, today’s business leaders must consider the dynamic factors that affect their work environment and the people around them. Now more than ever, the next generation must learn to lead consciously in order to stay competitive and stand out from the pack.
Going into its seventh year, the Queen’s Commerce Leadership Summit has been continuously committed to helping delegates grow their leadership potential, providing sponsors with the opportunity to recruit high-caliber talent, and allowing speakers to share their insights and make an impact on the business leaders of tomorrow. This year, the theme of the Summit is “Conscious Leadership”, a leadership style that values speaking with integrity, leading with authenticity and holding oneself accountable.
QCLS has distinguished itself within the Commerce Society as the premier business leadership conference at Queen’s University, with nominations in 2014 and 2015 as “Conference of the Year” by the Queen’s Commerce Society, as well as winning the 2017 Commerce Cup Award, which recognized the conference that contributed the most to the Smith School of Business. QCLS has grown from being a leadership conference for Queen's Commerce students, to involving both external faculties at Queen’s and student leaders from universities across Ontario.
This year, we’re looking to inspire students to become conscious leaders that create sustainable change and make a significant impact on both the people and environment around them. We look forward to having you join us on this journey.
